Information held by the police relates to an arrest, investigation and criminal charges brought against the applicant for offences of sexual assault and false imprisonment of a female passenger.
The applicant denied the allegation but admitting to picking up the female with no booking. He was charged to crown court and found not guilty. Furthermore, our records show that he was previously licensed by Brighton and Hove City Council as a taxi driver, however his licence was revoked on 15th February 2016, when information was received from Sussex Police that that he had been interviewed by them and admitted that he had engaged in sexual acts whilst working as a licence driver in lieu of payment of a fare.
